THE Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday, described the alleged invasion of the palace and home of Eze Israel Kanu, father of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at Afara Ukwu, Umuahia by security operatives, as primitive and brutal.
Members of the Movement for the Survival of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) In a statement, MASSOB’s National Director of Information, Mr. Samuel Edeson, said under the leadership of Mr. Uchenna Madu, the movement condemns in its entirety, the military invasion of Kanu’s home for no justifiable reason. Edeson said:
“These primitive and brutal approaches of the Nigeria security agents against the non-violence Biafra agitators are signs of cowardice. They show Buhari government’s frustration on the eloquent consciousness and realities of Biafra freedom, which is being appreciated and acknowledged by the international community.
“MASSOB and other pro-Biafra agitators are not cowed or intimidated by this act of over-zealousness and ethnic hatred of the people of Biafra by the security apparatuses. “Application of brutal federal forces against the non-violent Biafra agitators can never subdue or defeat the indestructible revolution of Biafra.
Even in these persecutions, arrests, extra-judicial killings and detention of non-violent pro-Biafra agitators, we shall continue to maintain our non-violence principles.” Work as one, MASSOB warns IPOB, laments activities of some members April 26, 2016 Uwazuruike behind my son's ordeal - Nnamdi Kanu's dad March 7, 2017
