Chelsea are set to go back to the future with their new away kit for next season by reverting back to the familiar colour of yellow.
Details and the hinted design for the 2018/19 away kit has been leaked online and we’re willing to bet supporters everywhere will be absolutely delighted with the outcome next summer. Antonio Conte’s men are currently playing for the first-ever season in their royal blue Nike jerseys after more than a decade of having their shirts manufactured by German giants Adidas, and this season’s outfits have definitely gone down well with supporters. But we reckon fans will like next season’s jerseys even more. According to the ultra reliable Footy Headlines, Conte’s men will play away from home in a bright yellow shirt, with royal blue trimmings, based on Nike’s ‘next-gen’ Vapor Aeroswift 2018 World Cup template.
The club have regularly wore a yellow alternative kit in the not-to-distant past, most recently being the 2014/15 season, when Adidas were the manufacturers. But what do you think of another yellow kit? Will it go down well with Blues supporters?
