Jose Mourinho’s men beat Burnley 2-0 on the road last time out. Tougher tasks are to come; starting with a visit to the unbeaten Watford on Saturday Night Football. The Red Devils will have to be at their absolute best in this one. I expect a defensive-minded 5-3-2 line-up to take to the field. One that’ll be filled with physicality as the Reds look to bludgeon their opponents into defeat.
David de Gea will start in goal after a fairly decent international break for the Spaniard. With a back five in front of him, perhaps he’ll have to make less saves this time around. Eric Bailly will play at the heart, with the Iceman Victor Lindelof on his left, while Chris Smalling will be to his right. Diogo Dalot is back in full training, with Luke Shaw likely to miss out with a concussion, the young man from Portugal will get his opportunity to prove his worth. Opposite him will be Antonio Valencia. Paul Pogba is hardly a fan favourite at this point in time but the fact remains, he’s still our best midfielder attacking-wise. Nemanja Matic will play at the base, with Marouane Fellaini starting once again; he was superb last time out.
Romelu Lukaku will partner Alexis Sanchez in a two-man strike force. This duo has huge potential, away at Watford would be the ideal time to test it out.
