BREAKING: Akwa-Ibom Senator Umoyo Decamps From APC to PDP (PHOTOS)

Akwa-Ibom Senator, Etang Umoyo Edet, has formally decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He announced his defection on Tuesday during an event held at the Esit Eket Council Secretariat.

While addressing the mammoth crowd he said, “I am not given to dancing around the truth. At a time the Governor (Udom Emmanuel) is seeking a re-election, a right which is consistent with tradition and constitutional provisions, a spanner is thrown into the works by the person who cleared the way for the emergence of the current custodian of our trust and mandate.
