He said: “Our mission is to help students learn and earn, we are helping them create a career for their future. We are giving them new courses, state of the art curriculum, more sophisticated trainers and also help them get placements.” While noting that they have been in existence in Nigeria since 1999, Banerjee said that so far over 400, 000 students have been impacted with their various programmes and so they have given this opportunity for students to come and acquire knowledge, attitude and skill in the latest technology. “The programme has helped youths to shape their career and have a stable life. We have most of those who pass through our programme in respectable organisations around the world. “In the last five years, the trend has always been positive in acquiring IT skills, the questions is not just learning for the sake of learning but how much can we implement in Nigeria especially as Nigerian students are doing exceptionally well globally,” he explained.
He added that IT is a profession linked with innovation and Nigerian students have been doing exceptional well.
