The Liverpool forward scooped 57 per cent of the public vote following his hat-trick in the Reds' 5-0 victory over FC Porto on Wednesday. Mane beat off competition from Real Madrid's Marcelo (29 per cent), Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur (11 per cent) and Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan (four per cent) to land the prize.
