4-3-3:Predicted Manchester United XI vs Burnley
Amidst all the talk regarding Alexis Sanchez, it’s easy to forget that there is a game of football to be played this weekend – and a tricky one at that. Visiting Burnley at Turf Moor has become notoriously tough, and Jose Mourinho will have to get his players in the right mindset for this one. Manchester United did manage to make up three points on City with a win last weekend, and they simply have to keep rolling with another victory here, if only to put the pressure on. Anyway, let’s get right into the predicted XI. In goal, David de Gea will obviously continue. Luke Shaw has emerged as the best left-back at the club all of the sudden, and credit to him because he’s been playing brilliantly lately. Antonio Valencia is finally back from injury too, and it looks like he’s never been away. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones looked solid on Monday night, so why break up that partnership? At the base of the midfield sits Nemanja Matic. That’ll allow Paul Pogba to move into more advanced positions alongside the in-form Jesse Lingard. Anthony Martial scored another cracking goal last time out so he’ll play, as will Juan Mata. Romelu Lukaku completes the starting line-up.
