Liverpool have won their last three away games in the Premier League and they’ll look to make it four on the spin when they travel to Bournemouth this weekend. The last time the Reds faced the Cherries away from home, they collapsed from 3-1 up to lose 4-3, so they’ll be wanting to get revenge against Eddie Howe’s men.
Two home draws in a row have dampened spirits a little but three points on Sunday will make everyone around the club feel that bit better. Here’s the XI I expect to play in the game:
SIMON MIGNOLET
Mignolet was left out in midweek with an ankle injury but it looks like he’ll be ok to start.
JOE GOMEZ
It looks like Gomez will be fine to play after picking up a knock and I think Klopp would prefer to have him at full-back instead of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
RAGNAR KLAVAN
While Klopp has rotated elsewhere, a lack of options means he has to continue using the same back two, so Klavan will start…
DEJAN LOVREN
… as will Dejan Lovren.
ANDY ROBERTSON
With Alberto Moreno injured, Robertson will continue at left-back.
JORDAN HENDERSON
The captain was given a rest in midweek but I think he starts at Bournemouth.
GINI WIJNALDUM
Didn’t have a great game in midweek but I think the manager will go with Wijnaldum.
PHILIPPE COUTINHO
He wasn’t at his best against West Brom either but I think Klopp will use Coutinho in midfield again.
MOHAMED SALAH
The Premier League’s main man. He’s played a lot recently but I think he’ll start again.
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN
With Sadio Mane looking like he needs a break, I think we’ll see Oxlade-Chamberlain play in a wide role.
ROBERTO FIRMINO
It wouldn’t be a huge shock if the manager selects Dom Solanke but I think he knows how vital a win is here and as such, he’ll pick his main striker.
