St Paul's Tube Station and several nearby roads have been sealed off as police deal with the package found inside a building. At least three police vehicles and several officers arrived at St Martin's Le Grand at around 10.30am to inspect the item, which was initially thought to be suspicious. The cordons remain in place and police are working to clear the area, which is near the heart of London's financial district and also popular with tourists. City of London Police said: "We are currently in attendance in St Martin's Le Grand (EC1) following a report of a suspicious package inside a building. "We were called at 10.23am. Cordons are in place around the street and people are advised to avoid the surrounding area. More when we have it."
