Sandro has struggled to adapt to a new tactical set-up by boss Max Allegri this season and with Juve interested in Roma full-back Emerson Palmieri, there will be an option for Sandro to leave. The Brazilian left-back, 26, was the subject of a £70m bid from Chelsea in the summer and was ready to make the move in order to play under Antonio Conte.
That switch failed to materialise – partly due to Leonardo Bonucci leaving Juventus for AC Milan – before the transfer window closed but reports in Italy suggest Palmieri has already been lined up to replace Sandro for the Italian champions. onte is thought to have cooled his interest in bringing Sandro to Stamford Bridge given the player’s form over the last few months. He would not be prepared to match the offer from the summer – but could still be convinced if the figure was closer to £50m.
