Serie A giants, AC Milan have sacked head coach, Vincenzo Montella and replaced him with former midfielder and captain, Gennaro Gattuso. The Italian club made the announcement on Monday through their official club website as Gattuso was appointed interim coach. The sacking of Montella came as a result of Milan’s 0-0 home draw to Torino at the San Siro stadium on Sunday. Montella was appointed Milan’s manager in the summer of 2016 and led the team to sixth in his first season in charge, also winning the Supercoppa Italiana.
