The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Emmanuel Udom has said governors from the South-East and the South-South are troubled by the level of agitation in both regions.
Udom, who is the Chairman of South East and South South Governors’ Forum, said this on Sunday at Imo Government House during a meeting of the Forum. He noted that marginalization among others was part of the challenges facing the two regions. Udom said, “As we begin this deliberation, I urge our governors to look at the challenges that confront our people for considerations
“This forum is concerned with the cacophony of voices that are calling for self determination and we are worried. “We are also concerned with the issues of justice, fairness and equity in our region.”
