Former New Media Director to the Peoples Democratic Party Deji Adeyanju has condemned the presidents independence day speech, he stated that the president’s speech was a divisive speech as he has collectively insulted the whole Igbo’s in the country. He expressed that he may not agree with Nnamdi Kanu in many aspects but that some of the things the IPOB leader have said remains true, such as, the issue of exclusion and marginalization. He stated that the president never condemned the ultimatum issued out by the Arewa youth but rather quick to attack IPOB. He also made it known that Buhari is the problem in Nigeria and it’s high time he stops blaming everyone but blame himself, he said the president keeps disappointing the country with every speech he makes. He said the country doesn’t hate the president but expects him to do better as the independence day speech was a speech expected to unite the country but rather the president failed and further divided the country. He ended his speech by saying “God Bless Nigeria’’
