The APC led Imo State government is presently demolishing Eke Ukwu Market in Owerri, Imo State after issuing 24 hours notice to the shop owners. And the government sent combined security forces to shoot anyone that dares to resist or seen directly in the market. The forces were seen marching around the market shooting sporadically to show that they are out for business.

It was also confirmed that a young boy who might have felt pity for his poor parents attempted to help his mother evacuate some goods but was shot directly on the head and he reportedly died instantly.
