Eden Hazard, one of the Premier League’s outstanding performers this season, believes the Blues are worthy champions, but the Belgian insists there is less to play for having be crown the premier league champion.
Having scored our opening goal of the season, in the home win against West Ham United, Hazard has been an influential figure during the title-winning campaign, producing countless impressive displays and working hard for the team. The Belgian, who has recaptured the form which proved so integral to the Blues being crowned champions in 2014/15, will get his hands on the Premier League trophy once again following today’s home fixture against Sunderland. ‘All the players have been fantastic and we’ve won a lot of games,’ said Hazard. ‘At the end of this season I think we’ve deserved to win the title and now we have one more game, and the FA Cup final, still to play.’
