Donald Trump was up and tweeting Friday morning. The subject, as it often is, was how terrible the media is. "The Fake News Media hates when I use what has turned out to be my very powerful Social Media - over 100 million people! I can go around them," Trump tweeted. Organifi
This isn't the first time Trump has tweeted about the media allegedly hating that he tweets. Earlier this month, he hit on that same point: "The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media. They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out."FOR FURTHER DETAILS VISIT  cnn all news

Nigeria has apologised to Saudi Arabia after 200 tonnes of dates the kingdom sent as a Ramadan gift were found on sale in local markets

. Dates are traditionally the first things Muslims eat when they break the Ramadan fast each evening. The dates were intended for people who had fled their homes because of the Boko Haram Islamist insurgency. Nigeria's foreign ministry said an investigation was underway. However, no arrests have yet been made. Organifi
The foreign ministry said that Nigeria's Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons had drawn up a list of places where the dates would be distributed, which included IDP camps and some prominent mosques. The dates were found on sale in markets in Borno state, which has been hardest hit by the Boko Haram conflict. After eight years of unrest, some 8.5 million people need life-saving aid in north-eastern Nigeria, aid officials say.

Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, almost lost his cool on Saturday, as he vowed to ensure that Nigeria remains as one indivisible entity.
The Acting President spoke in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, at the wedding ceremony of the former Interim National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Bisi Akande’s daughter, Wuraola, and Dr. Olawale Solabia.

Osinbajo, called on those giving out 3-months quit notice order to bury the idea, but work for peace and unity of Nigeria.
He made the call on the heels of the ultimatum issued by Northern youths on Igbos, to relocate from their region, before October 1, this year.

He pointed out that quarrels and agitations can come up at any time, but insisted that the most important thing was for them to give peace a chance and work in unity.
He said: “Today is a special one for Wale and Wura. Marriage is a very large institution that requires a lot of prayers. It is the same marriage that nations go through.
“Our nation has been in marriage for a while now. Sometimes there are quarrels within that marriage. Sometimes there is disagreement. What is important is that you must remain together. You must remain united.”

Post-Nigeria recalls, that leaders across the country have been reacting to the rise in the ethnic tension across the country, following a declaration by 16 Northern youth groups on Tuesday, in Kaduna, giving an ultimatum to the Igbos, to leave the North before October 1.

The groups had based their position on the sit-at-home that was observed across the South-East, penultimate week, on the orders of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai, while condemning the quit notice to the Igbos, also ordered for the arrest of the leaders of the groups.
The Northern Governors Forum, condemned the move as well, through its Chairman, Governor Kashim Shettima, of Borno State.
On Friday, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir, assured the Igbos of safety of their lives and property in the North, vowing to sacrifice the last drop of his blood to protect all Nigerians living in the State.
Also, on Friday, the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, advised Nigerians to avoid inflammatory remarks capable of causing disunity among the people.

Tambuwal was speaking when he hosted members of the resident communities at the Annual Iftar breaking of fast, organised by the State Government

The call came on the heels of the October 1 ultimatum, issued by the Arewa Youths Forum to the People of South-East origin living in the Northern parts of Nigeria, to vacate the region or face massacre.

Senator Femi Okurounmu, an Afenifere chieftain who was present at the meeting, told Saturday Sun, that the quit notice by the Arewa youths should be not be taken lightly, based on historical experience.
He said: “This quit notice by the Northern youths should not be seen by any wise Southerner as being meant for only people from the South-East, or that it is an empty threat. These Northern youths meant business, and not only that, they have the backing of the Northern elders, who have not only expressed their support for the youths, but have also affirmed their backing for the quit notice given to the South-Easterners.

“These Northerners should not be underrated, and one of the major reasons we are insisting that all Southerners should start coming back to the South now, is that when these attacks on them begin, the Northerners will attack all Southerners. How are they going to separate a Yoruba from Igbo? It is going to be difficult. Southerners should not be gullible. They should start coming home now. They should not wait until the end of the ultimatum. We do not want a repeat of 1966-1967 pogrom, when hundreds of people of Southern origin, especially those from the South-East were massacred in the North.’’

Okurounmu added: ‘‘Have these Arewa youths not been walking the streets free since the Inspector-General of Police and Governor El-Rufai ordered their arrest? The IG is a hypocrite. When crisis broke out in Osun State recently among some Hausa and Yoruba youths, is it not this same IG that immediately under 24 hours of the crisis sent Mobile Policemen to arrest Yoruba youths, while he left out his Hausa kinsmen? Why is the IG now unable to arrest these Hausa-Fulani youths who issued the quit notice? We are just deceiving ourselves; there is no justice in Nigeria. When an Hausa-Fulani man kills another Nigerian, he has not committed an offence, but when another Nigerian kills Hausa-Fulani man, he has committed an offence, and must be punished. That is the Nigeria of today for you.’’

“However, if Nigeria wants to break-up, so be it, let it break-up, if it wants to break-up. Nigeria will not be the first country to break-up. The defunct Soviet Union broke-up, heavens did not fall, defunct Czechoslovakia broke-up, heavens did not fall, and even in Africa, recently Southern Sudan broke away from Sudan, and heavens did not fall. So, what is the big deal if Nigeria breaks-up? It is not compulsory that Nigerians should live together by force’’, he said
Afenifere, the apex Yoruba Socio-Cultural Organisation, has called on all Southerners, especially the Yorubas resident in the North, to start returning home, because the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, is arming the Northerners, ahead of the October 1 deadline.

Following what it described as the successful sit- at- home order in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Biafra, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has asked the Nigerian government to conduct a referendum for Biafra without further delay. IPOB members on solidarity march In an interview with Saturday Vanguard, an IPOB Coordinator in Aba, Chikaodinaka Oluikpe, said the success of the sit- at-home order has sent strong signals to the Nigerian government that the struggle to actualize an independent state of Biafra had gone past the stage where any force could abort it. He explained that the struggle for the actualization of Biafra has continued to gain recognition from many countries of the world, including those who had earlier shown indifference to the sufferings of the Biafra people. According to him, “IPOB march for freedom is total, there is no going back. At least, the result of the sit- at- home order is a clear signal that Biafra is at hand.” The Nigerian government is already panicking when we are yet to enter the main stages of the struggle. The only option left for them is to conduct a referendum.”
